Effective financial management in clinical trials is an ongoing challenge.  Each trial is unique and difficult to control due to a variety of factors, many of which come down to the expectations set by the CRO or trial manager with the sponsor and site manager. If these are managed properly, the study will save not only money but time. Operational decisions and continued monitoring are among the optimal ways to potentially combat these challenges. At the present time, we have the opportunity to streamline this process through use of technological systems that can keep track of budget spend and KPI’s throughout. It is a delicate balance that one needs to strike when considering how to adequately manage the finances of a clinical trial. By developing a strong contractual agreement at the onset and utilizing all resources throughout, the gap can hopefully begin to close.

This trainer-led, live virtual session will be offered in a 2x4 format (2 days with 4 hours of e-learning each day) for a total of 8 hours.
