Why You Should Attend

Outage Management Response & Restoration for Utilities

While the course will cover how OMS and social media can be implemented into existing utility systems, it will also create a discussion between delegates to narrow down the most important aspects to create a strong, effective outage preparedness program. With a space of severe weather battering the country due to hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, flash floods, and an even an uptick in rainfall, a discussion between members of the electrical utility sector is needed to educate each other and pool their combined knowledge to better serve and assist their customers during a storm.

  • Oversight and OMS - Implimentation of OMS into such systems as the Data Management System (DMS), Supervisory Control and Data Acqusition (SCADA) and such emergency management systems as E-Sponder, NEMIS, WebEOC and others.
